Hey Kids,

2 more days until the cookbook release and cupcake eating contest. We have 18 wonderful contestants registered for the contest. There are no contestant spots available. Sorry! We hope you will still come by to cheer the contestants on, enjoy cupcakes, the music and the company. Also, there will be a drawing for wonderful prizes that will also benefit Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. So come support them too! It should be a great time. Hope to see you all there.

1. Is there a fee? No, but we encourage donations.All donations go to Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary

2. Is there a trophy? Yes and they are amazing!!!!

3. How long is the contest? 5 minutes

4. Can I enter as a team? Wishful thinking but no.

5. What type of ingredients do you use? We use organic, wheat free, unrefined, and non-hydrogenated ingredients in all our desserts.

6. Do I have to enter the contest to attend the event? No. You can come and hang out with some amazing vegans from all over the Northeast, enjoy the treats and the show.

7. Where is fuel coffee located? New Haven, CT visit their website for directions. Fuel Coffee

8. Will the cupcakes have paper liner? Yes.

9. Do the cupcake have nuts? Yes & No, we will have some with nuts and others without.

The Boston Vegetarian Food Festival was a blast. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello and all your nice comments about the treats and T- shirts. We met some amazing people and had a great time.

On November 19th (the weekend before Thanksgiving) ThanksLiving celebration where Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary's turkeys are the main guests of honor rather than the main course! They're going all out for this meatless feast which will be held in a large heated tent in the goat pasture. Speakers and entertainment and, of course, turkeys wandering around doing their turkey thing.“Early birds” receive a discounted price if paid by Nov 5th: $40 per person, kids under 12 $20. After Nov 5th it increases to $50, kids $25. Order your tickets.

Vegetarians from all over southern Connecticut will be coming together to share in great food and fun conversation. Hey kids,
Hope all is well in your respective neighborhoods. We just got back from a west coast extravaganza. Oregon for a week, followed by California. (Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Irvine). Lots of amazing food was eaten. I (anthony) think I ate my body weight in tamales. Word.

So, we have a couple new links up. Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary, and the Interzone Cafe. Both places are amazing. The Interzone was my joby job in college. Best coffee in the Willamette valley.

There are a few events coming up that require your participation. (Especially if you live in the North East).

Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary will be celebrating their grand opening on September 9th, 2006. (The day will move to the 10th if the weather does not cooperate). There will be music, food and lots of amazing animals and people all having a blast. We will be making the deserts. http://www.woodstockfas.org/
